Ten individuals who were taken into police custody on January 31 during a demonstration in front of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have been granted bail by the Fort Magistrate’s Court.

The protest was organized to express discontent over the perceived failure to arrest former Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella, who currently holds the position of Minister of Environment.

The protesters, arrested for their participation in the demonstration, were brought before the Fort Magistrate’s Court, where they were granted bail.
