Mano Ganesan, leader of the Tamil Progressive Alliance, clarified that the recent pact with the SJB is not a joint election agreement.
In a statement, he emphasized that it’s an internal social justice agreement outlining welfare programs for upcountry residents under a potential SJB government.
Mano Ganesan asserted that this is not an election contract, stating, “If there is an election, there will come an election agreement.”
He expressed readiness to share details with parties like President Wickremesinghe’s UNP and Anura Kumara’s JVP, inviting their responses for further discussion.
